Therma Ikaria Greece Therma village is the main spa of the Ikaria Island known since the antiquity for its miraculous waters, in 2 km distance to the east of the capital Agios Kirikos.
Therma took its name from the ancient Ikarian city, Thermai. At a small distance to the east of the actual village, in the locality of "Halasmena Therma", are situated the ruins of the ancient city.
Therma is a picturesque cove, nowadays, with a small port and a beautiful sandy beach; its bright white houses, other low, other high, the one close to the other, with balconies full of plants, emerge a few meters from the beach. Around are the hills and in the back, from the one and the other side, the gully's rocks, in the entry of which you can find Therma.
The traditional feast of Therma village is held on the 1st of July, the feast-day of Saint Anargyroi.
